“A strategy and action plan is prepared with IFC to minimize water loss & leakage. ASKİ Master Plan will be finalized in the 2nd half of the current year. We have planned the sources to cover drinking water needs in Ankara until 2089. Ankara Metropolitan City Water Loss Minimization Project has been included in the Investment Program with a cost of TL 3.1 billion as a first in Turkiye; we have obtained approvals from IFC and AFD to finance the project. The credit is not to be provided with Treasury guarantees. We aim to give start to the project upon ratification by the City Council in May and an opinion of appropriateness from the Treasury.
